Location Directions: From the stop light at
the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Highway 6, travel west on Jackson
Avenue for 5 miles until you see a green Clear Creek directional sign.
Turn left onto Clear Creek Road (CR 313) and travel .5 miles and the site and marker
will be on the right side of the road.

Creek Baptist Church, S. B. C.: Organized August 12, 1936, by settlers
from Virginia and the Carolinas. Rev. J. L. Lane and Rev. R. G.
Hewlett only pastors during first 50 years. The present sanctuary was
constructed ca. 1856 and renovated in 1976.
