Location Directions: From the stop light at
the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Highway 6, travel east on Highway 6
until you reach the Old Taylor Road exit. Take a right and continue
south on Old Taylor Road for 2 miles, and the cemetery will be on the right
atop a grassy hill.

Buried here between 1837 and 1865 are early settlers of Lafayette County.
Among these is the grave of John J. Craig, purchaser of the Indian lands
that are now Lafayette County and donor of the site of Oxford.
