State Legislature & Mississippi Department of Archives and History's Community Heritage Grant program... $425,000.
 
National Park Service's "Save America's Treasures" program... $390,000 requiring a 100% match of funds.

National Park Service Historic Preservation Fund...$290,000.



Funds acquisition targets:
==========================

The immediate goal is to raise $390,000 to meet the matching requirements of the "Save America's Treasures" grant.

An additional goal of $500,000 must be reached to achieve the completion of the restoration target estimate.

A Sub-Committee has been appointed to oversight this effort. They will be considering events and avenues to seek the monies and/in-kind contributions. Fund Raiser Open Houses at the property are possibilities. A "Save A Board/$10" Program will be initiated.
 

Donations of all sizes from all types of individuals, corporations, governmental and grant sources will be solicited.
